Responsibilities Adolescent Unit Coordinator Opportunity Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital, located near beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC, treats adolescents, adults and senior adults in need of psychiatric services, as well as adults who suffer from a chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, or are in need of rehabilitation. Position Summary:

This position is responsible for answering the phone, assisting with clerical work such as copies for discharges, daily group copies/prep, filing, and other clerical duties on the unit as needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Prints off all daily group materials for the correct number of patients on the unit.
Answers unit phones, takes/delivers messages appropriately, handles all non-patient care related calls, assists in providing appropriate information to family members under supervision of unit RN.
Registers patients for the Reflections portal prior to discharge
Assists with clerical paperwork for discharges.
Collects data on program schedule compliance, and submits to Dir. Of Nursing and Dir. Of Performance Improvement daily.
Daily oversight for chart compliance
Provides additional clerical support as needed by the unit RN/Therapist/MHT Benefit Highlights Challenging and rewarding work environment

Qualifications Unit Coordinator Job Requirements:

Highschool Diploma/GED Required. Vocational/Technical School Preferred.
1 Year of Clinical In-Patient Experience Required. Adolescent Experience Preferred.
