Our prevention, intervention and treatment programs spread the message that there is hope and that substance misuse and addiction are preventable and treatable. The Clinical Director provides leadership and oversight to staff in an outpatient setting, including regular supervision, oversight, and guidance to Lexington County staff members. In alignment with LRADAC’s strategic direction, this position is responsible for developing, managing, and evaluating programs including data-driven clinical and administrative oversight for Lexington County. This position serves as a liaison between LRADAC and community partners, governing and regulatory bodies, and referral sources. Position Logistics Full-time (37.5 hours work week) routinely between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday Primary in-office location is our Lexington county building, with travel needed to other facilities and community partners as needed. Education, Experience & Licensure Requirements Master’s degree in Human Services field required At least five years of experience in the treatment of behavioral health disorders (e.g. serious mental illness, serious emotional disturbances, substance use disorders), and at least three years of supervisory experience required. Licensed Physician; Licensed Psychiatrist; Licensed Psychologist; Licensed Psycho-educational Specialist; Licensed APRN; LISW-CP; Licensed PN; LPC; LMFT; LAC Position Overview Clinical Excellence (35%) Oversees quality assurance in service delivery including fidelity of treatment and intervention programs, clinical care, timely and accurate documentation, patient engagement and patient retention. Supervise completion of periodic quality assurance audits to ensure compliance with established standards of care. Leads and develops monitoring for program fidelity, status trends, admissions and discharges, and identifies opportunities to support the team to achieve identified goals. Provides training, formally and informally, to team members and agency team members to support best practices and clinical advancement in treatment modalities, approaches, and practices. Strategic Leadership (30%) Directs the day-to-day operations of the treatment and intervention programs and implements programmatic and administrative policies and procedures to attain program goals and objectives. Makes programmatic and administrative recommendations to the VP Clinical Services in accordance with the agency/program goals and objectives. Spearhead efforts to engage and support individuals needing treatment and intervention for substance use disorders in Lexington County. Serves on various agency committees, working groups, and other bodies as assigned. Participates in the development of agency strategic plan for Lexington County services and explores opportunities to expand services to underserved populations. Coordinates with the agency’s Prevention department to participate in community events and partnership meetings, streamlining the process for admissions from community members/events into services Supervisory (20%) Responsible for personnel-related actions including hiring selections, advancement, promotion, firing, disciplinary, and overall performance management including setting performance standards and goals. Provides clinical supervision to treatment and intervention personnel and ensures all clinical staff within the office receive appropriate supervision through individual and/or group supervision Assist Lexington County Program Managers on daily coverage and scheduling needs that may impact patient care, including providing coverage for services when needed. Agency Advocate (10%) Coordinates communication with other internal departments of the agency and external partners to ensure continuity of care and quality services.
