The Vice President of Clinical Services provides leadership and strategic direction for all intervention and treatment programs. As a member of the executive leadership team, this position partners cross-functionally to further the mission and vision of LRADAC within our workforce and our external stakeholders. This position leads through and with a team of Directors, Managers, and Medical Providers. The successful candidate for this position must be knowledgeable in all areas of compliance for external and internal standards and regulations, including all CARF Accredited programs, external licensing and accrediting bodies. Position Logistics Full-time (37.5 hour work week) routinely between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday Primary in-office location is our Richland county building, with travel needed to other facilities and community partners as needed Education, Experience & Licensure Requirements Master’s degree in Human Services Field At least five (5) years of experience in the treatment of behavioral health disorders (e.g. serious mental health, serious emotional disturbances, substance use disorder) with at least two (2) of those years in SUD At least four (4) years of people management experience including direct responsibility for hiring, firing, and performance management. Licensed Physician; Licensed Psychiatrist; Licensed Psychologist; Licensed Psycho-educational Specialist; Licensed APRN; LISW-CP; Licensed PN; LPC; LMFT; LAC. Position Overview Strategic Clinical Leadership (30%) Set strategic and operational vision of the treatment and intervention programs to empower teams to implement programmatic and administrative policies and procedures to attain program goals and objectives. Spearhead efforts to engage and support individuals needing treatment and intervention for substance use disorders in Lexington County. Serves on various agency committees, working groups, and other bodies as assigned. Leads the development of agency strategic plan for Richland and Lexington County services and explores opportunities to expand services to underserved populations. Proactively identifies opportunities to partner with the agency’s Prevention department to participate in community events and partnership meetings, streamlining the process for admissions from community members/events into services. Establishes quality assurance standards in service delivery including fidelity of treatment and intervention programs, clinical care, timely and accurate documentation, patient engagement and patient retention. LRADAC Executive Management (25%) Serve as a member of the agency’s Leadership team by collaborating in a constructive, open and positive manner. Represent the agency in a professional manner at all events, internal and external, including, but not limited to, community partners, 301 agencies, and media representation. Proactively seeks out and identifies opportunities for grants and funding streams to provide quality services to our communities. Supervisory (25%) Supervise management staff to ensure the effective and efficient supervision and management of direct care staff, so as to ensure the delivery of quality and best practice intervention and treatment services. Responsible for personnel-related actions including hiring selections, advancement, promotion, firing, disciplinary, and overall performance management including setting performance standards and goals. Creates a compelling work environment and culture with a shared purpose of changing lives and communities. Agency Advocate (15%) Enhance the agency’s role in the community through the implementation of appropriate programming within community resources and with the development of community partnerships.
