Since then, we have expanded our services to children and adolescents with severe emotional disorders across Middle and East Tennessee. Although based out of Nashville, we serve several communities across middle and East Tennessee with satellite offices in Antioch, Gallatin, Dickson, Columbia, Cleveland, Murfreesboro, Clarksville, Cookeville, Chattanooga, and Memphis. JOB TITLE

EPS Treatment Supervisor (Adult Services)

SCHEDULE

Monday – Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

JOB SUMMARY

Provide leadership, supervision, and support to Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU), Crisis Treatment Center, and Intensive Intervention Center.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide direct clinical and administrative supervision to staff working in EPS Treatment Services. Ensure all protocols and procedures as set forth by the agency and payor sources are carried out and fulfilled. Ensure that consumers admitted to EPS Treatment Services are promptly assessed and offered the full array of interventions offered at CSU. Work with EPS Medical Director and EPS Treatment Program Manager to up-date protocols and ensure all staff stay updated on any protocol changes. Co-lead staff meetings that focus on motivating the Treatment team and ensuring that all staff members are educated and informed of any changes that impact operations at Treatment Services. Promptly address team concerns and work to obtain resolution. Counsel Treatment staff on performance and complete scheduled performance appraisals within designated timelines. Monitor activity and performance of Treatment staff. Collect and review all timesheets for Treatment staff. Review timesheets for accuracy and submit to payroll within designated timelines. Assist in hiring, orienting, and training Treatment staff members. Work with scheduler and members of the Treatment services leadership team to ensure that all shifts have appropriate staffing coverage. Provide after-hours on-call supervisory coverage as needed. Display workplace flexibility including providing direct line services as needed on the unit. Review monthly monitoring reports and be aware of required key monitors for Treatment program. Maintain and facilitate communication regarding consumer’s care with all relevant staff. Assist staff in monitoring consumer’s behavior, level of cooperation, and ability to remain safe while in Treatment Services. Report all maintenance/facility issues to Treatment Program Manager to insure facility is kept clean and in good repair. Work with consumers during their stay in Treatment Services to reduce psychiatric symptoms and facilitate their return to a less restrictive environment. Ensure team maintains timely and appropriate documentation as required by the Agency. Develop and maintain community and MHC inter-departmental relations through prompt follow-up with contacts. Work collaboratively with peer specialist to ensure that an active programming schedule is completed daily at CSU, IIC and CTC. Ensure that adequate medical supplies and groceries are ordered in a timely manner at CSU, IIC, and CTC. Work with Program Manager and EPS Medical Director to enhance services in all of treatment services by providing feedback on ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness of all programs.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for attending all mandatory in-services, continuing education and annual health requirements Comply with all Corporate Compliance policies, practices and procedures Report all unethical activities to supervisor, Corporate Compliance Office, Values Hotline number or Human Resource Director Comply with all OSHA and safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe practices or accidents to supervisor, Safety Supervisor and/or OSHA Coordinator Will be compliant with the relevant regulations concerning the privacy and security of consumer’s protected health information (PHI) as established by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals Perform other duties as assigned Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill Follow all policies and procedures set by the Agency

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree a mental health related field required Master’s degree in a mental health related field preferred or Registered Nurse (RN) with minimum of 2 years direct care experience in mental health field Previous supervisory experience preferred.
