Fertility Nurse Educator (Virtual & On-Site Assistance)

Clinical Operations Manager; Clinical oversight by Medical Director Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Nurse to support our fertility program through both virtual and on-site patient care. Under the clinical oversight of our Medical Director—and following established protocols—you will provide education, monitor treatment progress, coordinate medication adjustments, and serve as a clinical resource for patients and nursing colleagues. This role begins as a part-time, hourly position and is expected to transition to full-time based on operational needs and performance. Key Responsibilities Patient Assessment & Education Conduct telehealth and in-clinic intake assessments (health history, lifestyle, prior treatments) Teach patients self-administration of medications (injections, oral protocols) and review fertility treatment plans Provide ongoing emotional support and address patient questions in a timely, empathetic manner Treatment Monitoring & Medication Management Follow standardized protocols—approved by the Medical Director—for lab monitoring, hormone level interpretation, and symptom assessment Collaborate with the Medical Director to implement prescription dosing changes or medication orders within protocol guidelines Document all clinical interactions, vital signs, lab results, and medication changes in the electronic medical record (EMR) Care Coordination Schedule and triage virtual and on-site visits, ultrasounds, and bloodwork Communicate with embryology, laboratory, and scheduling teams to ensure seamless patient flow Serve as liaison between patients and physicians; escalate urgent issues per established escalation pathways Quality Assurance & Protocol Adherence Participate in regular protocol reviews and update checklists as clinical guidelines evolve Audit charts for compliance with documentation standards and assist in corrective action plans Contribute to continuous quality improvement projects within the fertility program Team Collaboration & Training Mentor and support newer nursing staff in fertility-specific procedures and telehealth best practices Attend case conferences, staff meetings, and in-service trainings Share insights on patient trends and workflow improvements with multidisciplinary team

Working Conditions & Schedule Initial Schedule:

Part-time, approximately 25-30 hours per week, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends to accommodate patient needs

Future Schedule:

Transition to full-time (40 hours/week) with consistent travel 1 week per month to on-site clinics.

Workspace:

Remote telehealth from a secure, HIPAA-compliant home or work office; on-site duties at our partner clinics.

Compensation & Benefits Hourly Rate:

on-site gym access and prescription medication discounts Qualifications & Skills Licensure & Education Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Experience Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, ideally with 2 years in reproductive endocrinology, women’s health, or infusion therapy Telehealth or remote-care nursing experience is a plus Clinical Competencies Strong understanding of ovarian stimulation protocols, injectable medication administration, and fertility diagnostics Proficient in interpreting hormone labs (e.g., FSH, LH, estradiol) and ultrasound reports Comfort with electronic medical records, telehealth platforms, and basic population-health tools Interpersonal & Technical Skills Excellent verbal and written communication; able to explain complex information clearly Empathetic, patient-focused approach with strong crisis-management skills Highly organized, able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
