Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Stanford Heights provides supports and services to adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities through the
ECF CHOICES / CHOICES
Program. We also provide services through the Department of Disability and Aging (DDA). We predominately operate Family Model Homes, but do have multiple Supported Living Group Homes as well. The Health Services Administrator is responsible for the overall management of the medications and Medication Administration Record (MAR) of all clients supported by Stanford Heights. Additionally, the Health Services Administrator is responsible for oversight of all Healthcare Services and ensuring that all clients have all required medical appointments and required documentation. This is an hourly position that works in our Nashville Office. There are occasional opportunities to work remotely. The company has a generous Holiday policy and competitive wages.
SPECIFIC TASKS
Dispensing Medications:
Checking in medications that have been delivered by the pharmacy, checking the medications to ensure accuracy, and dispensing the monthly medication supplies to the clients and their caregivers in our residential homes.
Inventory Management:
Maintaining accurate inventory of medications and supplies. Ensuring clients hav active orders for all medications, and tracking medical/behavioral health appointments to ensure orders can be obtained on time.
Customer Service:
Assisting clients and staff with questions and concerns related to the medical care of our clients.
Data Entry:
Entering prescriptions and patient information into computer systems (THERAP). Ensuring the Medication Administration Records are accurate and up to date as new prescriptions are sent to Stanford Heights. Ensuring proper documentation in the Therap system is completed timely.
Insurance Processing:
Working with insurance companies and pharmacies to process prescriptions and resolve issues.
Other Duties:
May include, answering phones, and assisting with other data entry tasks Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Experience with the Therap system is preferred, but not required MUST have STRONG computer proficiency and the ability to learn a medical records system (Therap). Proficiency with EXCEL and Microsoft Office (SharePoint, Word, etc.)
REQUIRED
Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to take initiative and complete tasks independently Experience with with the ID/D population, specifically a provider who has worked with
DDA, ECF/CHOICES.
Medication Administration Certification through the TN Department of Disability and Aging (If you do not currently have this certification, you must complete the certification class within 60 days of hire)
