Job Description Summary:
The role of the Staffing Coordinator is to schedule nurses with patients in a timely manner. A successful Staffing Coordinator should be able to communicate efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. The goal is to ensure that the company’s staffing requirements are always met, and employees work in a friendly, supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent) Investigate pharmacies staffing needs and take action to staff accordingly Schedule, organize and implement a sustainable staffing strategy Work with other staff members to fulfill the needs of patients and nurses’ schedules Identify hard to fill schedules and take proactive actions Possess excellent communication and written skills to effectively speak to employees, patients and pharmacies Prepare and submit reports on staffing operations Update nurses’ calendars daily Supervisory Responsibilities Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? (i.e. hiring, recommending/approving promotions and pay increases, scheduling, performance reviews, discipline, etc.) No – X Yes Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements High school diploma Minimum of 6 months of related experience Basic Qualifications Good time-management skills with the ability to handle various open referrals simultaneously Excellent verbal, written communication skills and critical thinking skills Communicate in a timely manner Physical Demand Requirements Ability to work on a personal computer or laptop computer for extended periods of time.
