Successful candidates will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field, a surgical technology certification, and preference will be given to candidates who have teaching experience. The position is located at our Nashville campus and will report directly to the Academic Dean of the campus. Responsibilities Teach a minimum of sixteen (16) college-level courses per year covering core courses, including procedures and clinical care, pharmaceutical drugs education, position and prep, sterilization, and labs. Facilitate discussions effectively Provide live and recorded lectures as necessary Guide students through hands-on skills. Manage adjunct faculty within the Surgical Technology Department. Review departmental courses, scheduling, faculty management, and other management activities. Participate in department activities, including committee meetings, curriculum discussion, student solutions management, and other service activities.
Requirements:
Education Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study Surgical technology certification. Experience Preference will be given to applicants with prior successful teaching experience and those with management experience.
