Description Job Summary and Qualifications The primary purpose of the Sr. Medical Student Coordinator position is to provide assistance for the overall operations of the HCA visiting student rotations. This includes, but is not limited to, application, documentation and orientation process of each student; interaction with the Graduate Medical Education Programs across HCA and interaction with other academic partners as they relate to HCA Hospitals.

Job Summary:

Provide assistance in the application review, documentation and coordination of core and visiting medical students throughout the HCA hospitals, physician practice and ambulatory surgery centers Assist in the management of the student databases Assures that all medical students are assigned to hospitals/clinics in a timely manner Manages student documentation and site requirements on an on-going basis and ensures compliance with HCA policy and procedures Affiliation Agreement Management with hospitals and schools

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program providing training in a related field preferred and a minimum of 5 years related experience; experience considered in lieu of education.

Previous knowledge and experience in medical education student processes and principles, program design.
