We are currently seeking an experienced Interim Healthcare Dietary Manager to lead our dietary operations and elevate the dining experience for our residents. About the Role As Interim Dietary Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our dietary department, including staffing, food preparation and service, sanitation, and compliance with healthcare standards. This leadership position plays a critical role in ensuring residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals that align with care plans and dietary needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Hire, train, schedule, and manage dietary staff Oversee food ordering, preparation, and delivery Maintain compliance with sanitation and food safety standards Collaborate with Dietitian and care teams on menu planning and dietary needs Monitor food quality and presentation Maintain department budget and supply inventory Participate in audits, inspections, and care planning meetings

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred 1 to 5 years of food service or healthcare dietary experience Prior supervisory experience in food service Certified Dietary Manager (CDM, CFPP) strongly preferred Knowledge of special diets, sanitation protocols, and kitchen safety Strong organizational and communication skills

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and push 100 lbs. on a cart Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift Why Join Us?
