What We’re Looking For Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
Six months of related experience or equivalent training is preferred.
Skills:

Experience in healthcare scheduling or patient services is a plus What You’ll Do Schedule and reschedule appointments for office visits, lab tests, radiology, and infusion services Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information Handle incoming calls and emails related to scheduling inquiries Provide general assistance to patients, including appointment reminders and necessary documentation Collaborate with internal teams, including Medical Records, Insurance, and clinical staff, to address patient needs Cross-train with other schedulers to ensure a cohesive team environment Physical Requirements This role involves prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer, occasional walking and standing as needed, and minimal travel with potential for additional hours during peak times.
