Job Summary:

The Patient Service Coordinator plays a key role as the first point of contact for patients. This position is responsible for delivering excellent customer service and ensuring smooth daily front office service operations, including patient check-in/check-out, scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and maintaining a professional, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients with a warm, professional demeanor Collect and verify patient information and insurance details Schedule and confirm patient appointments Check out patients, collect payments, and provide follow-up instructions Initiate and track referral requests; contact patients to schedule referred appointments. Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries in a courteous and timely manner Maintain accurate records and ensure patient confidentiality Travel between Mt. Juliet and Cookeville offices as needed to provide consistent coverage Assist with additional administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent (required) Minimum of 1 year of medical office or front desk experience (preferred) Strong communication and organizational skills Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR); experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) a plus Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between offices (drive time and mileage reimbursement) Friendly, patient-focused attitude with a team-oriented mindset

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work at either location depending on coverage needs.
