Patient Services Administrator Sunny Hollow Dental Colchester, VT 05446 Overview Well established family dental practice is seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidates will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front office operations of our dental practice. This role requires multitasking with a blend of administrative skills and a friendly demeanor to ensure a welcoming environment for all patients. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes. Schedule and confirm appointments using Practiceworks software. Verify patient insurance information and handle insurance claims. Maintain accurate dental records and patient files, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional manner. Manage billing inquiries and coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations. Provide support in managing office supplies and inventory. Skills Proficiency in office management, particularly in a dental or medical setting. Experience with any practice management software is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for all patients. Familiarity with insurance verification processes and dental coding helpful. Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patient information and medical records. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
