Job Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible forensuring accurate and timely clinical review of behavioral healthcases for medical necessity including assisting members on thetelephone, reviewing medical records, reviewing cases which involvecontract interpretation of behavioral health diagnoses, andutilizing knowledge of medical necessity criteria for all levels ofbehavioral health care from outpatient office visits to acuteinpatient.

Job Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with active,current license or Masters-level Behavioral Health Professionalwith active, current license to practice at the independentpractice level. Current clinical license to practice in state ofoperations and in good standings.
• 3 years clinical experience inpsychiatric setting or own behavioral health practice.
• Verbal andwritten communication skills.
• Analytical and decision-makingskills.
• PC and database experience.
