Director of Addictive Diseases 2.4 2.4 out of 5 stars Griffin, GA 30223 About McIntosh Trail At McIntosh Trail Community Service Board, we offer individuals experiencing symptoms associated with mental illness, addictive disease and/or developmental disability the hope for optimal functioning and recovery by providing quality behavioral health services and supports. Summary Directs and provides assistance to plan, organize, direct and coordinate the delivery of health services. Provides assistance to develop and implement related policies and procedures. Monitors and evaluates healthcare programs. Directs subordinate managers and staff. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures that AD programs meet Beacon, CARF, DCH, Medicaid and TANF requirements.
- Provide administrative and clinical supervision to the AD program directors, program managers, clinical supervisor, counselors, par pros, houseparents, clerical staff, and TCC Coordinator.
- Maximize funding and revenue for New Choices by ensuring that the beds are filled.
- Complete program reports and submit timely based on deadlines set by DBHDD.
- Participate in training/meetings/webinars that are related to the AD Programs and services.
- Manage the health and safety processes at the Burke Center, New Choices and Transitions to ensure compliance.
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.

concepts in the program area of assignment.

- Demonstrates the ability to complete the hiring process inclusive of all steps within the procedure.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills associated with intrinsic leadership 1) setting direction, 2) aligning people, and 3) motivating and inspiring.
- Demonstrates the ability to complete the Performance Management Process fairly within the program/center.
- Demonstrates knowledge of procedures and reports in the electronic health record system.
Minimum Qualifications Doctorate degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of management/ supervisory experience in health care services OR Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Three years of management/ supervisory experience in health care services OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Four years of management/ supervisory experience in health care services OR Two years’ experience at the lower level Mgr.2, Hlth Care (HCM011) or position equivalent. Some positions may require certification and/ or licensure. Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25/50 lbs.
- Physical Demands may include sitting, standing and/or walking, pushing/pulling, handling, reaching, bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, squatting, climbing (ladders or stairs), and overhead reaching.
