Toxicology Laboratory Consultant
Clinical Project Manager/Scientist
Raleigh, NC, US

Pay Rate Low:

75,000 |

Pay Rate High:

100,000 Laboratory Consultant Collaborate with stakeholders during pre-sale and post-sale phases to ensure project scope aligns with contractual customer expectations Lead software implementations and upgrades, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of departmental processes and standards Advise clients on strategic decisions, offering best practice recommendations to optimize efficiency Deliver training sessions as part of the implementation or upgrade process to support client onboarding Contribute to process improvement initiatives by capturing and analyzing client and team feedback Travel to client locations to install laboratory software products in accordance with established procedures and guidelines Uphold a strong commitment to exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the client relationship Troubleshoot project-related issues and escalate to senior staff or management when appropriate Mentor and collaborate with fellow Professional Services Consultants to enhance team-wide product expertise Manage and prioritize project tasks effectively to ensure deadlines are consistently met Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned Skills Proven ability to manage projects and priorities independently from initiation to completion Solid understanding of client workflows and software application functionality, including basic knowledge of system interfaces Skilled at analyzing how multiple systems interact and providing strategic recommendations Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with experience engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels Strong analytical mindset with effective problem-solving capabilities Proficient in optimizing workflows and procedures to enhance efficiency and support client process improvements

Required Experience & Education:
Education:

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Healthcare, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical industry Clinical or Public Health Laboratory Environmental Science or Toxicology Laboratory Preferred Experience & Education Minimum of 5 years’ experience with healthcare information systems or software products, including at least 1 year of hands-on application work At least 3 years of experience writing SQL queries (Oracle DB experience preferred) 3+ years of experience in report development using tools such as Telerik, Actuate, or Crystal Reports 1+ years’ experience with programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python) Minimum of 1 year of experience in a consulting or implementation-focused role • Other Requirements • 25-50% Travel may be required This job description is a complete list of all desired skills but not all are required.
