Telemedicine Coordinator 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Jamaica, NY 11435 • Hybrid work Overview CHOICES Women’s Medical Center, a leader in comprehensive women’s healthcare, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Telemedicine Coordinator to lead the implementation, training, and day-to-day coordination of a robust, multi-service telehealth program. The services include Gynecology, Mental Health, Prenatal Care, and Family Practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing workflows, coordinating appointments, supporting clinicians and patients, and ensuring integration with CHOICES electronic medical record, eClinicalWorks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

: 1.

Program Development & Implementation:

a. Lead the design and launch of a comprehensive telemedicine platform across multiple disciplines. b. Develop operational workflows, standard operating procedures, and best practices for virtual care. c. Ensure platform meets clinical, regulatory, and compliance standards (HIPAA, etc.). 2.

Training & Support:

a. Train medical and administrative staff on telemedicine software, scheduling, documentation, and virtual etiquette. b. Serve as a point of contact for technical and procedural support during telehealth visits. 3.

Scheduling & Coordination:

a. Coordinate and maintain telemedicine appointment scheduling across OB/GYN, Prenatal, Mental Health and Family Practice departments. b. Monitor appointment flow and troubleshoot any disruptions to virtual visits. c. Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Services, Chief Administrative Officer and patients to ensure optimal access and satisfaction. 4.

EMR Integration:

a. Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to ensure seamless integration of telehealth documentation with eClinicalWorks. b. Create templates, documentation workflows, and ensure accurate data entry for telemedicine encounters. 5.

Quality & Reporting:

a. Track utilization metrics, patient satisfaction, and provider feedback to inform continuous improvement. b. Identify gaps or inefficiencies in virtual care delivery and recommend solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Health Informatics, Public Health, or a related field (preferred). 2. Minimum 2 years of experience in management of telehealth operations. 3. Prior experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW) highly recommended. 4. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and telemedicine compliance requirements. 5. Experience coordinating multidisciplinary services or multi-provider practices is a plus.

SALARY:
