DESCRIPTION

Embeds tissue, cuts, stains and coverslips slides of a quality acceptable to the pathologists. Performs special stains. Performs immunohistochemical techniques. Accessions specimens, troubleshoots and maintains histology equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Associate degree in clinical laboratory technology or equivalent. 1-3 years experience preferred. NYS Clinical Laboratory Technician or provisional license. $36.73
