We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Part-Time MOHS Technician to join our growing surgical team.

Job Summary:

The MOHS Technician will play a critical role in supporting our MOHS surgeon by preparing high-quality frozen sections for same-day histologic analysis. This includes processing tissue specimens, staining slides, and maintaining lab equipment and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately embed, cut, stain, and cover-slip MOHS specimens using a cryostat Label and document tissue slides with precision Maintain laboratory equipment and inventory Follow protocols for tissue handling and safety Coordinate with the MOHS surgeon and surgical team to ensure a smooth workflow during surgery days

Qualifications:

Prior experience as a MOHS Technician or Histotech is required (1+ years preferred) Proficiency in cryosectioning and staining techniques Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Excellent communication and organization skills HT/HTL certification is a plus but not required

Schedule:

Part-time hours Typically needed on MOHS surgery days (currently 1 day per week with potential for additional hours as the program grows)
