The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our clinical staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility. This position requires strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and experience in various clinical settings as well as phlebotomy. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories. Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians. Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with coding for insurance purposes. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed in accordance with clinic protocols. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment. Collaborate with team members to enhance patient care and improve clinic operations. Requirements Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program. Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and coding practices. Experience working in a clinic or urgent care setting is preferred; familiarity with PICU or emergency medicine is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is desirable. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and support. MUST be certified Phlebotomist or willing to go through certification course.
