As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals in need. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others. Duties

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide home care services and support in various settings
• Work with people with autism to enhance their quality of life
• Lift and transfer individuals as needed
• Offer hospice care support when required
• Administer first aid when necessary
• Provide long-term care assistance to individuals
• Engage in caregiving activities tailored to individual needs
• Prepare meals and ensure dietary requirements are met
• Support individuals in assisted living facilities Requirements
• Experience or willingness to work with individuals requiring support with ADLs
• Knowledge of home care practices and procedures
• Ability to work effectively with people with autism
• Capability to lift and assist with mobility needs
• Familiarity with hospice care principles is beneficial
• First aid certification is preferred
• Understanding of long-term care practices
• Proficiency in meal preparation for diverse dietary needs
• Experience in assisted living settings is advantageous
