The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their well-being in a supportive environment. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Support individuals in daily living activities such as meal preparation, cooking, and household chores. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote emotional well-being. Help clients with mobility and physical support, including heavy lifting when necessary. Monitor and document client progress, vital signs, and any changes in behavior or health. Implement individualized care plans developed by healthcare professionals. Facilitate communication between clients, families, and other caregivers. Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients, including memory care and hospice settings. Skills Certification in CPR is preferred. Experience in senior care or hospice care is highly desirable. Familiarity with group home settings and patient care practices. Ability to work effectively with individuals who have developmental disabilities. Strong physical capability for heavy lifting as required by client needs. Cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals for clients. Knowledge of monitoring vital signs is an asset. Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
