Position Overview:

Oak Hill is seeking compassionate and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide meaningful support to individuals with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities . You’ll empower individuals to live more independently—whether helping with daily routines, supporting community involvement, or simply offering a caring presence. This role is ideal for those new to human services, looking to change careers, or passionate about making a difference.

What You’ll Do:

Assist with personal care, hygiene, and daily living tasks Help individuals access and engage in community activities and appointments Support safe medication administration and document accurately Encourage development of self-help and social skills Maintain cleanliness and a supportive environment in the home Follow and document individual support plans and goals Protect participant privacy and follow all policies, including CPR and First Aid protocols

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED Must be at least 18 years old Valid Driver’s License No prior experience required— paid training provided Why Work at Oak Hill?
