This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly those with disabilities, dementia, or memory-related challenges. The ideal candidate will be patient, empathetic, and skilled in caregiving practices while adhering to resident rights and HIPAA regulations. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities. Monitor patient health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Support clients with mobility assistance and heavy lifting as needed. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, especially for those with dementia or memory care requirements. Ensure a safe environment by following safety protocols and maintaining cleanliness. Uphold resident rights and maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA standards. Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous. Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus.
