Granby, CT Position:
Home Health Aide –
Part-Time Location:
Waterbury, CT and surrounding towns.
Education/Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a current Connecticut CNA license and possess and maintain CPR certification. Home health care experience is preferred.
Shift/Schedule:
Days, evenings, and weekend.
Benefits:
1. Competitive Pay – a. Pay range of $18.00 – $20.00/hour. 2. Mileage reimbursement of $0.50/mile.
Job Description:
Provide health care services in patients residences. Perform domestic and household tasks. Assist with clients’ personal care activities. Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition. Maintain patients care records and document provided services. Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises. Instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise. Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support. Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state requirements and is in good working order.
