Job Description:

Care Connect, LLC, a trusted non-medical home care agency based in Connecticut, is currently seeking compassionate and dependable female caregivers to support elderly clients in their homes. We are especially looking for caregivers with experience in dementia care and safe transfer techniques , including use of a Hoyer lift . This position is ideal for those who are committed to providing respectful, person-centered care to aging adults who wish to remain in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting Provide mobility support and assist with safe transfers (client is a fall risk) Operate and assist with Hoyer lift transfers Prepare meals that follow specific dietary guidelines Offer medication reminders Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands Monitor and document client care and report any changes in condition Ensure a clean, safe, and supportive home environment

Requirements:

Female caregiver (due to client preference) Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with elderly individuals Demonstrated experience working with clients diagnosed with dementia or memory-related conditions Proficient in using or assisting with Hoyer lifts and other transfer devices Reliable transportation Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to follow a care plan and adjust to evolving client needs

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting clients with limited mobility, stroke recovery, or Alzheimer’s disease Training in fall prevention or dementia-specific care approaches
