At Parker Supports, we believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to achieve their fullest potential. We are currently seeking experienced individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals in the Port Orange, FL service area.

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK AN 8HR SHIFT ON SATURDAY FROM 10AM – 6PM.

The ideal candidates will provide compassionate care and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, fully embracing and promoting the mission of Parker Supports. If you have prior experience working with developmentally disabled adults or children, we encourage you to apply and help us “Paint Tomorrow Beautiful.” Previous experience working as a caregiver, caregiving associate, DSP, group home, companion, live-in companion or as a home health aide may make you a good fit for this role

Responsibilities With Care and Compassion:

Provide supervision and guidance for individuals during home and/or community based activities. Develop rapport with individuals, and their circle of supports, while cultivating a safe and supportive relationship. Implement individual support plans that will assist the person with accomplishing their goals while improving their quality of life. Provide and produce accurate case notes and summaries that detail the individual’s progress for each time services are provided. Provide Medication Administration Skills & Abilities Ability to pass a Level 2 Federal background check and drug test High school diploma/GED required 2+ years’ experience providing direct care to patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities or comparable relevant experience. Valid driver’s license (If transporting individuals in personal or company vehicle) Current First Aid and CPR certification Completion of all Agency for Persons with Disabilities Required Trainings Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Compassionate about the care and well-being of others Work Remotely No •
