Duties:
- Provide ADLs and personal care visits to patients in their homes.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Help patients with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or home care is preferred.
- Familiarity with dementia care is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare systems is beneficial.
