Job Description:

We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Aide (HHA) to assist with patient care in a home health setting in the Hollywood, FL area.

Monday to Friday, 4:30 PM

Saturdays and Sundays, 4:30 PM

Immediate Requirements:

Experience with bedbound patients Familiarity with PEG tube care and Hoyer lift use (preferred) Valid HHA certification CPR certification Reliable transportation

Preferred Qualities:

Compassionate, patient, and dependable Strong communication and time management skills Ability to work independently

Responsibilities:

• Assist client with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Follow all HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information
• Complete medical documentation accurately and timely
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care

Skills:

• Previous experience in caregiving or related field preferred
• Knowledge of bedbound patients
• Familiarity with nursing home, assisted living, or home healthcare settings
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proficient in medical documentation and record keeping
• Ability to follow instructions from nurses and healthcare professionals
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients
