Direct Support Prof. needed in Green Cove Springs M-F 2:30 PM-6:30 PM Over the Top Services and Care, Inc Green Cove Springs, FL 32043 Seeking a Direct Support Professionals to assist with a recipient in Green Cove Springs, Florida. The recipient is a female who resides in her home with her family. Individual is verbal, ambulatory, and requires minimal assistance. Applicant must pass a level II background screening and possess a valid driver’s license Applicant must be reliable Applicant must pass a Level 2 and Local screening no exceptions Applicant must complete a local and level II background screening Applicant must have reliable transportation, with a valid drivers license, vehicle registration and auto insurance. Responsibilities Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, assisting them with daily living activities (ADLs) and personal care. Foster effective communication and build rapport with clients, ensuring their needs are met. Implement behavior management strategies and support plans, particularly for individuals with autism. Drive clients to community activities and appointments as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being. Maintain accurate records of care and progress, collaborating with other professionals as necessary. Summary As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on enhancing their daily living skills and overall quality of life. Reporting to a supervisor, you will utilize your core skills in caregiving and communication to support clients in their homes and communities.
