Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to provide care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in resident rights, medication administration, and direct support in assisting persons with disabilities.
- Seeking
- (1) 40 hr/week full time Orange Park (2) 32-40 hr/week Mandarin area
Part Time Orange Park and Westside Northside Part Time Weekends Duties:
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure compliance with medication schedules
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals under your care
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
- Help individuals with meal preparation and feeding when necessary
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including driving when required
Skills:
- Proficiency in resident rights advocacy and implementation
- Experience in medication administration and adherence to medication protocols
- Valid driver’s license for transportation needs
- Background in home care, long-term care, nursing home, or related healthcare settings
