This position involves providing compassionate care and assistance to clients, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. You will work closely with individuals who may have disabilities, memory care needs, or require home health assistance. Your dedication and skills will make a significant difference in their daily lives. Responsibilities Provide direct support to clients by assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Monitor patients’ health by observing their physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Assist clients with mobility needs, including heavy lifting and transferring them safely from one location to another. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks as needed. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation. Support individuals with autism or other disabilities by implementing personalized care plans tailored to their unique needs. Document patient observations and care provided accurately to ensure continuity of care. Skills Strong patient monitoring skills to effectively observe and report changes in clients’ conditions. Experience providing direct support to individuals with disabilities or special needs. May require ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges safely. Knowledge of memory care techniques to support clients experiencing cognitive decline. Proficient in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the home environment. Compassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients and their families. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to provide exceptional care independently.
