This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly those with developmental disabilities, dementia, or other health challenges. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a key role in assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety. Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Help with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry. Monitor and record vital signs as required, ensuring any changes in health are reported. Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including lifting when necessary. Support individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting independence and skill development. Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals to meet the specific needs of each client. Engage clients in activities that stimulate mental and physical well-being. Requirements Previous experience in patient care or as a Home Health Aide is preferred. Knowledge or experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care is a plus. Certification in CPR is highly desirable. Ability to lift and assist clients as needed while maintaining safety protocols.
