As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting them with daily activities and personal care. This position requires a commitment to maintaining the dignity and independence of those you serve while ensuring their safety and well-being. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Launder clothing and linens as needed to maintain a clean living environment. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation, particularly for those with dementia or developmental disabilities. Clean living spaces to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients. Skills Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of basic healthcare practices. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or other disabilities is preferred. Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and laundry. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Compassionate demeanor with a focus on client-centered care.
