Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate direct support/ HHA to join our home care team. As a direct support/HHA, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and support to our consumers. Saturdays:

9:00am-8:00pm

Sundays:

9:00am

Duties:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Assist with daily chores
• Assist with daily activities
• Assist in the transfer and transportation of patients within the home
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements:

Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent Must pass a Level 2 Background Screening & Local Law 2 years of employment reference and 3 personal references 1st

AIDE/CPR

Medication Administration Experience with working with special needs

Required Training:

Zero Tolerance, HIPPA, HIV/AIDS, Direct Care Core Competencies, Electronic EMR Within 30 days of employment

Salary:

$20 per hour Expected hours: 22 hrs per week

• Proven experience as a direct support professional or companion or similar role
• Proven Experience working with people with an intellectual disability
• Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and basic healthcare procedures
• Familiarity with home care, assisted living, or other healthcare settings is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Compassionate and empathetic nature towards patients
