Duties and Responsibilities:
- Input needed data in client records, i.
e:
condition, areas of behavior, daily living.
- Offering companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Taking clients to their medical appointments.
- Plan, purchase, prepare or serve meals to clients according to prescribed diets.
- Perform housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, washing clothes or dishes and running errands.
- Administer prescribed medication as needed for each client as needed, follow protocol for disposal of medications.
- Maintain a safe, clean and supportive environment is for residents.
- Provide bathing and dressing assistance and personal care.
- Report all incidents of abuse/neglect in accordance with the Disabled Abuse Act, to the abuse registry.
- Encourage clients to participate in recreational activities and events.
Qualifications for the job:
Education:
High School, Associate degree or experience equivalent to degree.
Experience:
1 years of work experience in related field.
Other:
Valid driver’s license with no suspensions for the past 3 years.
