The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personal care, companionship, and support in daily activities. This position is perfect for those who have experience in assisting individuals with developmental disabilities Schedule Monday-Friday 6:00am-8:00am 3:00pm-8/9:00pm Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Help with meal preparation and ensure that clients receive nutritious meals according to dietary requirements. Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including lifting when necessary. Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks as needed. Support clients with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed health regimens. Document care provided and maintain accurate records of services rendered. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving or related fields home care Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to lift and assist clients as required for mobility support. Basic knowledge of meal preparation and nutrition is beneficial.
