Home Health Aide – Requirements
Successful completion of a Home Health Aide Certificate (HHA)
Palm Beach County HHA Badge
Certified CPR-BLS for healthcare providers (in person course)
Must hold the following CEU’s- HIV/AIDS, Alzheimer’s, Domestic Violence, Infection Control, Medical Records, Resident Rights, Communication w/impaired, Medical Error and Self Administration of Medications
Physical Exam and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray within the last 5 years is required
Minimum one (1) year of paid experience is required
Valid Drivers license, auto insurance
Reliable transportation
Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
