130th Street, North Miami, FL 33161 Qualified Pediatric Home Health Aide to care for and accompany children during transport in our Prescribed Pediatric Extended Center. Must have some pediatric experience working with infants and toddlers. Employee must be flexible to meet needs of the PPEC setting and management. Excellent customer service skills needed. We serve children 0-21 years of age. Responsibilities Provide health care services in patients Perform domestic and household tasks Transport and accompany patients to doctors office, home, and to hospital Assist with kids personal care activities Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises Collect routine specimens Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support Skills Proven working experience as HHA Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards Current CPR certificate First Aid training Fully Covid 19 vaccinated High school degree Summary As a Home Health Aide (HHA), you will be essential in providing compassionate care to patients in their homes, focusing on their individual needs and promoting their well-being. Reporting to a registered nurse or care manager, you will utilize your core skills in patient care and home health to assist with daily activities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Your premium skills in assisting with ADLs and experience with various patient populations, including seniors and those with developmental disabilities, will enhance the quality of care provided.
