The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and systems, as well as the ability to observe and report changes in patient conditions. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Monitor and record vital signs to ensure clients’ health is maintained. Provide catheter care and support with mobility assistance. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring hygiene standards are met. Observe patients closely, reporting any changes in their condition or behavior to healthcare professionals. Help clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed. Document patient care activities accurately in medical records. Support clients with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed treatments. Foster a positive relationship with clients, encouraging social interaction and engagement. Requirements Previous experience in senior care or home care is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of medical terminology and systems is highly beneficial. Ability to perform patient observation effectively and communicate findings clearly. Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving. Must be able to clean and maintain the client’s living space as part of daily duties. Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as required by client needs.
