The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving and a genuine desire to enhance the quality of life for our clients. This role involves assisting with daily activities, ensuring a safe and clean environment, and offering companionship to those in need. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Provide mobility assistance and support with heavy lifting when necessary. Monitor patient health and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and organized living space for clients, ensuring a safe environment. Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Provide direct support for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments. Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition is maintained. Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to create personalized care plans. Skills Certification in CPR is preferred for emergency preparedness. Experience in dementia care or working in nursing homes is highly valued. Strong ability to assist individuals with mobility challenges and perform heavy lifting as needed. Knowledge of home community care practices and assisted living environments is beneficial. Excellent patient monitoring skills to ensure the well-being of clients. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. A caring attitude and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients are essential for success in this role.
