The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients, particularly those requiring hospice care, memory care, and long-term care services. This role involves working closely with clients to assist with daily living activities while ensuring their safety and comfort. Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort. Monitor and record vital signs and health status, maintaining accurate medical records. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client’s well-being. Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs as required. Help clients with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed regimens. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Engage clients in social activities that promote mental stimulation and physical activity. Requirements Previous experience in home care, assisted living, nursing home, or hospice care is preferred. Knowledge of memory care techniques is a plus. Familiarity with medical records management systems is beneficial. Certification in CPR is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and families. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a home community care setting. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately.
