Spanish Speaking Home Health Aide with Hoyer lift, transferring experience NEEDED for a male client. Helping Hands of South Florida Home Care Greenacres, FL 33463 Experience with Bedbound patient, Transferring and Hoyer lift experience needed 2 shifts available:
Morning And Afternoon Saturday and Sunday:
9AM-12PM and 6PM-9
PM Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities in their home or assisted living facility.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare and cook meals according to dietary needs and restrictions.
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including using proper lifting techniques.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality of client information.
- Complete required medical documentation accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or home care preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare practices.
- Ability to lift and transfer clients safely using proper techniques.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining client confidentiality.
