Home Health Aide CCA Transcare Largo, FL 33774 Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work independently while following care plans. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client adherence to medication schedules. Take and record vital signs, ensuring any changes are reported to healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Launder clothing and linens, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for clients. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being. Observe and report any changes in clients’ conditions or behaviors to the appropriate healthcare personnel. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of care provided. Support hospice care as needed, providing comfort during end-of-life transitions. Requirements Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a similar caregiving role is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare practices is essential. Familiarity with medication administration protocols is highly desirable. Strong observational skills with the ability to recognize changes in patients’ health status. Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and healthcare teams.
