As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. Duties Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing to clients. Assist with meal preparation and ensure clients receive proper nutrition. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Assist clients with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times. Launder clothing and bedding as needed to maintain a clean living environment. Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional. Support clients with long-term care needs, fostering independence while ensuring their well-being. Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Requirements Previous experience in patient care or home community care is preferred. Knowledge of medication administration protocols and long-term care practices. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and healthcare teams.
