Position Overview:

We are seeking Individual Support Specialists to provide one-on-one care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. This hands-on role is essential to helping clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

Build strong, trusting relationships with clients to understand and support their personal needs Implement individualized care plans in collaboration with other professionals and family members Assist with personal care activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding) Support clients with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping Provide safe transportation to appointments, events, or community programs Encourage participation in recreational and social activities Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment Collaborate with family members and guardians as part of the client’s support system

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old (Required) Must be able to lift at least 90 lbs (Required) At least 2 year of experience in a medical, psychiatric, nursing, Nursing Home, Home Health Care, childcare, or developmental disability setting (Required) OR equivalent education: 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or 720 classroom hours from an accredited institution Level 2 Background Check (Required) Local Background Check (Required) Current CPR Certification (Required) Completion of APD Waiver Support Provider Training (we will provide): Direct Care Core Competency (DCC)

HIPAA Compliance Zero Tolerance Training Schedule:

Must be available to work any day of the week (Sunday through Saturday) Semi-Flexible shifts available
