Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes, assisting them with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. The ideal candidate will have experience in nursing homes, home community care, or assisted living environments and possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Monitor and document patient health status and report any changes to the healthcare team. Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety. Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed. Perform catheter care and other medical tasks as directed by healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Support clients in engaging with their community through social activities or appointments. Skills Experience in nursing home or long-term care settings is preferred. Knowledge of patient observation techniques and medical documentation practices. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers. Ability to provide compassionate senior care while respecting client dignity and privacy. Familiarity with assisted living protocols and home community care practices is a plus. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring quality patient care.
