The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. This role is vital in delivering high-quality patient care and enhancing the overall well-being of our clients, particularly seniors and those in assisted living or nursing home settings. Duties Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance. Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort. Monitor and document patient observations, reporting any changes in health or behavior to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider. Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed, ensuring nutritional needs are met. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship. Follow care plans established by healthcare professionals to meet individual client needs. Maintain accurate medical documentation as required by company policies. Requirements Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or nursing home settings is preferred. Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices. Ability to perform basic medical documentation accurately. Excellent observation skills with attention to detail regarding client needs. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to maintain a clean environment for clients while adhering to health standards. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
