The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for clients, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. This role is vital in delivering personalized care in various settings, including home care, nursing homes, and community care environments. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Support clients with mobility and transportation needs, including driving to appointments or activities. Implement behavior management techniques as needed to promote positive interactions. Monitor and document changes in clients’ health or behavior, reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals. Assist with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed health regimens. Engage clients in social activities and companionship to enhance emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or personal care assistance is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and CPR is highly desirable. Familiarity with home care practices, long-term care, and working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers. Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and compassion in all interactions. Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client visits. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed to accommodate client schedules.
