Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care services. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
• Help clients with mobility and transfers
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment
• Assist with behavior management techniques as needed

Skills:

• Experience working or not is preferred
• Knowledge of personal care systems and protocols
• Understanding of social work principles and practices
• Familiarity with basic nursing procedures, such as taking vital signs
• Ability to administer medications under supervision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
